At Naturally Light Equitation, we provide professional day-to-day care in a friendly yard environment. Based in Preston Capes, Northamptonshire (near Daventry), we offer two straightforward full livery options - both built around consistent routines, clear communication, and horse-first standards.
Your livery includes full use of our facilities (bookable via the NLE App), plus the option to add extras when needed. If you’d like to come and see the yard, we’d love to show you around.

Both packages include the same core standard of care - the difference is simply how many days per week we provide the services.

What it’s like at NLE
We keep things simple, consistent, and horse-first - with a routine that aims to maximise turnout and keep horses settled.
Turnout - year round
Turnout is available all year. We rotate through summer and winter paddocks and aim to keep horses out for as long as possible. In summer, horses may be out 24 hours where suitable; otherwise we balance turnout and stable time. In winter, horses are typically out during the day and in overnight.
Feed, hay and bedding
Owners supply feed (we’ll feed it on our service days). We sell and provide hay and chopped straw bedding as standard and this is billed twice monthly. If you prefer your own bedding, you’re welcome to provide it.
The NLE App - built for liveries
Facilities are included as part of livery and bookings are managed through the NLE App. It’s a comprehensive system designed to help liveries (and us) stay organised - from arena and facility booking, to livery details and ongoing horse care tracking. We’re continuously improving it as the yard grows, so it keeps getting better over time.
What you’ll need
For livery we require your horse’s passport, up-to-date vaccinations, and at least third-party liability insurance. We’ll also take emergency contact details and any routine notes so your horse is cared for correctly from day one.

A circular sand track around ~1 acre - great for fitness and consistent footing.

Get in touch to arrange a viewing and we’ll talk through the best option for you and your horse. If we need to hold a space, we can take a holding deposit - it’s credited toward your first month if you move in within the agreed period, and it’s non-refundable if you decide not to go ahead.
